Leaving Coeur d' Alene, you will be traveling through North Idaho's famous Silver Mining District. You can take a tour of an authentic Gold or Silver Mine guided by retired hard-rock miners that can make the past come alive again. This area is rich in history and you will find a variety of activities for all ages. Once you cross over into Montana, you won't want to miss the 10,000 Silver Dollar Bar for a taste of the Old West or perhaps a relaxing soak in the nearby hot springs. If you are interested in Native American culture, there are great interactive programs and cultural centers in this area too. There are some very unique opportunities here and beautiful Flathead Lake is a great area to overnight with its attractive RV parks. This area of Montana is literally dotted with rivers and lakes as well as lush forested mountains and beautiful valleys.
Further along the road there are more hot springs and ghost towns to explore as well as famous Native American battlefields and lots of mining history. The road to Yellowstone is full of adventure and scenic wildlife viewing. Once you arrive at your destination, we will have your RV space reserved so you can begin exploring Yellowstone National Park right away. Whether you just want to sight-see or you would like to participate in some very hands-on educational programs, we can arrange the ultimate experience for you, from botany classes to grizzly bear tracking. This park literally teems with wildlife and our experts and guides will see that you have great photographic opportunities during your stay here.
You will have the choice of flying home or returning by RV. Our staff will handle all of the details for you.
